Intended use

Disposable, non-sterile in vitro diagnostic device for clinical use designed to cut biological specimens during the macroscopic reduction process.

The device has been designed for professional use only in medical and veterinary laboratories and medical facilities by skilled, qualified and trained personnel. The device enables, within the workflow of a pathology laboratory, which also includes other IVDs, to make a diagnosis on a histological specimen sectioned for research and diagnostic purposes. The device is intended to be used combined with blade handles for easier use.

The device cannot be reused; once worn out, it cannot be recycled.
