Intended use
Single-use, non-sterile, in vitro diagnostic device for clinical use, designed to identify different target structures in haematological, clinical cytological, bacteriological or histological samples. Methylene blue solution is used, for example, for nuclear staining, in particular as a contrast dye in Ziehl-Neelsen staining for acid-resistant bacteria.
Device for manual use or associated with an automatic stainer, for diagnostics or research, intended to be used by qualified personnel within laboratories that prepare histological, cytological and smear samples.
The result in terms of staining resulting from the combination of the different components can be used for viewing under the microscope and interpreting the result by experienced and qualified personnel.
The device is intended to be used on preparations previously prepared according to the methods provided for by the sample processing process followed by the laboratory.
The device is single-use, non-recyclable.
