Intended use
Single-use, non-sterile, in vitro diagnostic device, with the function of aiding diagnosis.
The device consists of permeable polyurethane foam, moulded to house and prevent the loss of small histological samples (biopsies) subjected to specific fixation, processing and embedding treatments, without obstructing the flow of reagents and paraffin.
The device is a key component of the operational process of an anatomical pathology laboratory that, once properly completed, allows trained and experienced personnel to make a diagnosis on the processed biological specimen.
The device is for professional use only in laboratories and medical facilities.
