The sample is traced thanks to the unique identification of the Genio cassette. This identification can be done by UV and IR laser printing technology.
Finally, the "block" (Genio cassette + paraffin sample) is used as a storage medium.
The device is a fundamental component of the operational process of a pathological anatomy laboratory which, once correctly concluded, allows experienced and trained personnel to make a diagnosis on the treated biological sample.
