Single-use, non-sterile, in vitro diagnostic device for clinical use, intended for the collection, transport and formalin fixation of prostate biopsies.
The SafeCapsule Prostate Biopsy Kit provides all the necessary material to support the collection, fixation and transport of prostate biopsies. Prostate mapping involves coded samples in various areas of the prostate gland at high risk of developing neoplastic disease, also including particularly suspicious areas (focal areas).
The product promotes the correct identification of withdrawals thanks to:

Pre-marked cassettes (RH – SX) in different colours depending on laterality

Graphical representation of the sampling site, which allows you to schematically define the sampling sites

Two baskets for neatly inserting cassettes into the fixative
The patented closed-loop system protects the operator from direct exposure to formaldehyde vapours.
Device intended for professional use only in laboratories and outpatient medical facilities for tissue immersion.
The device is not reusable at the end of its life and cannot be recycled. The device is a diagnostic aid and does not provide any interpretable analytical results.
The device does not come into contact with the patient.
