Blue screwcap specimen cup with formalin (prefilled volume 91 ml).
Intended use
A single-use, non-sterile device for clinical use intended for the collection, transport and fixation in formalin of histological specimens. Device designed and patented with a closed loop system, protecting the operator from direct exposure to formaldehyde vapours.
Intended for professional use only in laboratories and outpatient medical facilities for tissue immersion as an aid to diagnosis without providing any interpretable analytical results.
The device is not reusable: when it reaches the end of its life it cannot be recycled.
The device does not come into contact with the patient.

The blue cap specimen cup with Formalin contains a buffered solution that allows to release easily the sample, avoiding any type of mechanical damage to the sample itself. The formalin is sealed in the red cap and will be released only when screwed above the blue one.
This will exclude in any way, in any moment, any exposure to formaldehyde’s vapours. SafeCapsule is the ideal product for every day work in department like endoscopy, urology, dermatology, gynaecology, oculistic, surgery and veterinary.
