Intended use
Single-use, non-sterile, in vitro diagnostic device for clinical use. It is a fixative for sampling, transportation, preservation and thin layer preparation of non gynaecological samples.
The purpose of the device is to preserve the biological sample, its structural, cytomorphological, protein components and nucleic acids from physiological deterioration.
Thanks to its formula, the device promotes cell adhesion on the cytology slide, thereby improving and standardising the quality of preparation.
Device for research and diagnostic purposes. For professional use only, in laboratories, medical, outpatient and surgical facilities. Used by contact or immersion of non gynaecological cell specimens. The device is not reusable; once it has reached its end of life it cannot be re-used. The device is an aid to diagnosis and does not provide any interpretable analytical results.
The device does not come into contact with the patient and is used manually or in combination with other devices.
