Intended use
A single-use, non-sterile, in vitro diagnostic device for clinical use, suitable for the collection, storage, transport and manual monolayer preparation of gynaecological and non-gynaecological human and animal cytological samples.
The CytoPath®- Easy device can also be used for molecular and ancillary tests, as cell material is collected and stored in the liquid phase.
Device for research and diagnostic purposes, for professional use only, in laboratories, outpatient clinics, medical surgical facilities.
The device, used in manual mode and in combination with other devices, is an aid to diagnosis, it does not provide any interpretable analytical results and does not come into contact with the patient.
