Intended use
A single-use, non-sterile, in vitro diagnostic device for use as a fixative agent for non-gynaecological human or animal cytological samples.
The device is supplied in a 1-litre bottle. It consists of an alcohol-based solution, and is used for sampling, transportation, preservation and preparation of non gynaecological cytology samples.
Diacyte Plus ensures perfect preservation of the morphological and nuclear features of the cells and promotes adhesion of the cells on the slide, improving and standardising the quality of the preparation.
Device for research and diagnostic purposes, for professional use only, in laboratories, outpatient clinics, medical surgical facilities. Used for immersion of the cell sample, for manual, semi-automatic or automatic use in association with other devices.
The device is an aid to diagnosis, does not provide any interpretable analytical results, does not come into contact with the patient and is not reusable once it has reached its end of life.
