Intended use
Disposable, non-sterile in vitro diagnostic device for clinical use designed to be used to cut biological specimens previously inserted in paraffin.
The device has been designed for professional use only in medical and veterinary laboratories and medical facilities by skilled, qualified and trained personnel. The device enables, within the workflow of a pathology laboratory, which also includes other IVDs, to make a diagnosis on a histological specimen sectioned for research and diagnostic purposes.
The device is designed for use together with other devices (microtome, cryostat and paraffin) and is intended for use on the microtome and/or cryostat only and cannot be used for tissue reduction operations.
The device cannot be reused; once worn out, it cannot be recycled.

The purchase of the Products, including in vitro diagnostic devices (IVD), is reserved exclusively to authorized professional operators active in the healthcare and diagnostic laboratory sectors, including physicians, clinical analysis laboratories, pathology, cytology and histology laboratories, as well as other authorized facilities and professionals, holding a VAT number and classified under an ATECO/NACE code consistent with the relevant activity carried out, in particular within the field of clinical/diagnostic laboratory activities.
