Intended use
Disposable, non-sterile in vitro diagnostic device for clinical use designed to detect acid-alcohol resistant mycobacteria according to the Ziehl-Neelsen method. The device is designed for staining mycobacteria on paraffin-embedded histological sections positive for bacterial infection. The device allows expert personnel to make a diagnosis on the biological sample sectioned for research and diagnostic purposes.
The device provides a qualitative result and has been designed for professional use only, in medical and veterinary laboratories and medical facilities, in manual mode, by direct contact, in combination with other devices.
