Intended use
Single-use, non-sterile, in vitro diagnostic device for clinical use to identify collagen and connective tissue fibres in paraffin-embedded histological sections.
Device for manual use or in combination with an automatic stainer, for diagnostic use or research, intended to be used by qualified personnel in laboratories that prepare histological, cytological samples and smears.
In terms of staining, the result obtained from the combination of the different components can be intended for inspection under a microscope and interpretation of the result by experienced and qualified personnel.
The device is intended to be used on preparations previously prepared according to the methods set forth by the standard sample processing technique used by the laboratory.
