Intended use
Single-use, non-sterile in vitro diagnostic device for clinical use, used in association with Giemsa acc. to Pappenheim staining solution, able to highlight the various blood components on blood smears, identify parasites in histological specimens and type cells of the haemolymphopoietic tissue.
In terms of staining, the result obtained from the combination of the different components can be intended for inspection under a microscope and interpretation of the result by experienced and qualified personnel.
The device is intended for manual use or in combination with an automatic stainer, to be used on preparations previously prepared according to the methods set forth by the standard sample processing technique used by the laboratory.
