The kit supplies reagents for Masson Trichrome staining, used for the detection of connective tissue, collagen, reticular and muscular fibers. 

Masson Trichrome stains collagen fibers in blue and muscular fibers in bright red.

Used for the detection of collagen from cancer smooth muscle; it also identifies possible increasing of tissue in diseases as cirrhosis.
